DACHSER Hong Kong connects with students at Germany Business and Career Expo 2026
The expo was designed to go beyond a traditional career fair format, incorporating interactive elements such as networking sessions and direct exchanges between students and industry professionals, enabling participants to gain first-hand insights into international career opportunities.
DACHSER Hong Kong’s participation underscores its continued commitment to engaging with emerging talent and strengthening ties between academia and industry. By providing insights into the logistics sector and its future developments, the company aims to support students in exploring international career paths and preparing for opportunities in a global working environment.
A university campus turned into a meeting point for global business and young talent in April, as Hong Kong Baptist University hosted the Germany Business and Career Expo. Bringing together German companies and students under the Consul-General-in-Residence Programme, the event created a platform for direct exchange on careers and international opportunities.
DACHSER Hong Kong joined the line-up of participating companies, engaging with students at its booth to present its global logistics network, service portfolio, and career pathways. Beyond the exhibition area, DACHSER Hong Kong contributed to the programme with a presentation outlining its operations, development, and service portfolio, highlighting its integrated logistics networks, digital innovation initiatives, and sustainability efforts, including emission-free delivery concepts.
“Engaging with students at an early stage helps create a clearer understanding of the logistics industry and the opportunities it offers,” said Marcel Schmidt, Managing Director Air & Sea Logistics Hong Kong. “At the same time, it allows us to gain insight into the expectations of the next generation entering the workforce.”
