Edoardo Podestà - Managing Director Air & Sea Logistics Asia Pacific
Edoardo Podestà, born 1962 in Italy, has been Managing Director Air & Sea Logistics Asia Pacific since 2014. He is in charge of 12 business areas of DACHSER’s Asia Pacific Business Unit. Prior to this, Podestà was Managing Director at Züst Ambrosetti Far East Ltd., a joint venture with DACHSER. In 2003, when DACHSER took full control of the company and renamed it DACHSER Far East Ltd., Podestà ensured a smooth transition. He has steered the growth of the Far East entity before extending his scope of responsibility to the Asia Pacific region. Podestà has held a variety of positions in the logistics industry in Asia for more than 25 years.
Kevin Chen - Managing Director Air & Sea Logistics Far East South
Kevin Chen has been Managing Director Air & Sea Logistics Far East South since August 2018. Having successfully driven business growth of DACHSER's South China business for many years, he also took over leadership of the Hong Kong and Taiwan business areas. Together, the markets form the Far East South cluster which is able to capitalize on the synergies between the markets. Chen completed his studies in Vancouver, majoring in transportation logistics. After graduating from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, he started working with an international freight forwarding company in Canada. In October 2001, Chen moved to China where he initiated the South China set-up of Züst Ambrosetti, DACHSER’s former joint venture partner. He further expanded the South China organization and when DACHSER took over Züst Ambrosetti in 2003, Chen became General Manager for the South China region.
Jesper Larsen - Managing Director Air & Sea Logistics Hong Kong
Jesper Larsen joined DACHSER as Managing Director Air & Sea Logistics Hong Kong in August 2018. Born 1976, Larsen completed his Bachelor in Foreign Trade at Copenhagen Business School. He has been working in the logistics industry for more than 20 years, most recently as General Manager of a well-known global NVOCC in Hong Kong. Larsen is heading all operational activities for the Hong Kong Business Area. Being part of the Far East South cluster, he has a strong focus on business growth while using synergies within the cluster ideally.
