DACHSER Singapore opens for business
Dachser Singapore Pte. Ltd. opened its national office in the Lion City to provide a broad range of air and sea freight services as well as contract logistics solutions, customs clearance and project consulting.
Dachser is looking to increase its staff in Singapore by 30 per cent by year end to to meet demand for the company’s services. The team is operating at the office locations in the west of Singapore as well as at the Changi Airport branch.
“Singapore is one of the most important logistics hubs in the world. Goods from all over Southeast Asia are dispatched from Singapore, and this metropolis is also the headquarters for many international companies,” said Thomas Reuter, managing director of Dachser Air & Sea Logistics, emphasizing the strategic importance of the location.
With the new national company, the logistics provider is expanding its portfolio of services in the Asia-Pacific region. “With our presence in Singapore we provide our customers with an even better exchange of goods, both worldwide and within Asia,” explained Reuter.
