HAFFA Standard Trading Conditions (29.12.1997 Edition)
These Standard Trading Terms and Conditions shall apply to any agreement or any other document with legal effect in respect of freight forwarding and logistics services and relevant or pertaining services (including but not limited to the services of arranging for the carriage of goods by air, carriage of goods by sea, carriage of goods by land, storage, warehousing, collection, delivery, insurance, customs clearance, packing, unpacking, etc.) between DACHSER Far East Ltd. or its subsidiary, branch, representative office or affiliated company established in Hong Kong and any client or its agent or employee. It shall be deemed that the client agrees with the application of these Standard Terms and Conditions if such client or its agent or employee entrusts to any such subsidiary, branch or representative office referred to above the undertaking of all or part of the aforesaid logistics services. DACHSER Far East Ltd. or its subsidiary, branch, representative office or affiliated company referred to herein include but are not limited to DACHSER Hong Kong Ltd.”

Standard Trading Terms and Conditions of the Company
These Standard Trading Terms and Conditions shall apply to any agreement or any other document with legal effect in respect of freight forwarding and logistics services and relevant or pertaining services (including but not limited the services of arranging for the carriage of goods by air, carriage of goods by sea, carriage of goods by land, storage, warehousing, collection, delivery, insurance, customs clearance, packing, unpacking, etc.) between any subsidiary, branch or representative office established in the Mainland of China by DACHSER Far East Ltd. directly or indirectly, and any client or its agent or employee. It shall be deemed that the client agrees with the application of these Standard Trading Terms and Conditions if such client or its agent or employee entrusts to any such subsidiary, branch or representative office referred to above the undertaking of all or part of the aforesaid logistics services. The subsidiaries and branches referred to herein include but are not limited to DACHSER Shanghai Co. Ltd. and DACHSER Shenzhen Co. Ltd and their branches.

Bill of Lading
To enable us to provide a professional service when carrying out our sea freight activities, we perform all of the functions of a ‘Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC)’.

For our clients we issue several Bills of Lading that are valid worldwide. Apart from the name of each Bill of Lading issued, which can vary depending on the agent in each individual case, the arrangements themselves remain identical in each case in terms of their content.
All of the Bills of Lading that we issue have identical terms and conditions, which constitute the legal basis for each sea freight contract that is concluded between DACHSER Far East Ltd. and the merchant.
